Make Reading Fun Again
If reading has become a daily battle in your home, you don’t have to figure this out alone.
Through my coaching pathways, I help you pinpoint why reading feels hard for your child and guide you toward strategies that truly fit your family.
For many families, reading becomes heavy before anyone realizes it. When a child resists books, we often jump straight to worry—Is something wrong? Are we behind? Do they need a diagnosis?
Sometimes the struggle isn’t ability at all. Often, children don’t yet see purpose in reading or don’t see themselves as a reader. When reading becomes only about accuracy, speed, or finishing the lesson, joy quietly slips away.
There are many simple ways to rekindle a love of reading:
- Creating a cozy “family book club” where discussion matters more than completion
- Letting children read aloud to stuffed animals, pets, or puppets
- Taking turns reading pages or paragraphs to remove pressure
- Choosing books that spark curiosity, not just meet a level
When reading feels relational and meaningful, confidence grows naturally.
